THE SHIMOSATO BAND is an amateur jazz band in JAPAN.It consists of 13 friends who work in different industries and services.The members get together once a month and enjoy playing jazz. JAZZ music was created in the U.S.A. However JAZZ music styles have been influenced by people all over the world. The repertoire of THE SHIMOSATO BAND is approximately 300 compositions, mainly standard tunes.We are proud to present our activities on this web site. Please take a look at the world of jazz which the 14 of us have developed.
